How to Read Spaghetti Models Like a Pro
Spaghetti models (formally called ensemble model tracks) show the projected paths of a tropical system from multiple different computer models simultaneously. Each colored line represents a different model's forecast.
When the lines cluster tightly together, models are in strong agreement. When they spread widely, there is high uncertainty in the track. The NHC's official forecast cone represents the area of likely track — not the storm's full size.
